Human Hair Wigs
For those of you who prefer the real
thing, we also have some human hair
wigs. Although human hair can be more
easily styled, and in general it lasts
longer, it also requires greater care.
Monofilament Wigs
Monofilament is the mesh material
to which the hair strands are attached.
In monofilament wigs the hairs are hand-knoted,
one strand at a time. This allows the
hairs to move more freely and makes
it easier to style.
The monofilament mesh is very thin
and lets your natural scalp colour to
show through. It also allows air circulation
making the wig more light and comfortable
to wear. Most monofilament wigs are
not 100% monofilament but only the top
section is while the sides and back
have a more traditional construction.
Monofilament wigs are ideal for those
with severe or total hair loss.
